The competition will have 10 events and 12 competitors.

 

The events and the competitors will be revealed in the summer.

FORTISSIMUS will challenge the elite of strongman based on the results of seven international competitions to be held between March and May 2020, in the USA, Australia, South Africa, South America, Germany and Turkey.

​

FORTISSIMUS, meaning "The Strongest", is a decathlon of strength events held over two consecutive days, while honoring the memory and feats of the legendary Louis Cyr, the Quebec strongman still considered as the strongest man ever.

The winner will be awarded the Louis Cyr trophy, a bronze sculpture created in 2003 by Michel Binette, renowned Canadian artist.
